Taming the time monster

This lesson plan encourages C1-C2 students to sharpen their critical thinking skills through a TED Talk video on time management. By analyzing strategies for maximizing productivity in a limited time, students will expand their vocabulary related to efficiency and organization. They will engage in discussions, exploring different approaches and potential challenges. As an extension activity, students will research the Hopi people’s unique concept of time and consider how it might inform a more holistic perspective on time management. This exploration can be further developed into a persuasive essay, where students can argue for the benefits of incorporating a Hopi-inspired approach into their own time management strategies.
