In this lesson, students develop their listening and speaking skills in the context of “celebrations of the dead”. Students will watch a video about the origin and customs of “The day of the dead” celebrated in Mexico. Furthermore, they will read a text about other celebrations from around the world honouring the loved ones who passed away. They will gain knowledge of the origin and traditions of each celebration. Exercises focus on reading and speaking skills and offer opportunities to answer questions on the topic.
